A Farewell In This New Year

Greetings, Gifted Reader.
farewell...for now

Not only is this our last blog post for 2019, but it will likely be our last blog post for good.

Since Gypsy Stars first began her Astrology practice in 1992, so many changes have developed in this big world. And, so they have in Gypsy Stars’ life, as well.

With so many different projects to juggle, she can no longer take time for her Astro work, and will concentrate on various arts endeavors instead.

It’s an opportune time given that 27 years have passed, a somewhat early Saturn Return, since the business of Gypsy Stars began. And, with the Year of the Metal Rat beginning on January 25, 2020, it’s a great time to launch a new project.

Our profile page on Facebook, pretty much inactive since Facebook destroyed it, will cease along with The Urban Goddess, where we posted all kinds of metaphysical news and info about other readers.

This blog will continue to remain here at this url, but no new posts will be forthcoming.

Our line of T*zing t-shirts will look for a new home, away form Cafe Press, which has also been a disappointing host. However, the shirts will likely be combined with other, non-metaphysical, designs.

hau'oli makahiki hou!
Finally, fear not, there are now so many readers writing blogs or doing work on Youtube, you will hardly miss the rantings of Gypsy Stars.

Hau’oli Makahiki Hou (Happy New Year) and Mahalo nui loa (thank you for very much) for your support since July 31, 2010.

A hui hou (until we meet again)…

Good luck, light and love.

A New Moon And A New You, In Libra

Greetings, Gifted Reader.

This will be short and sweet. Since it’s nearly the end of the year, we’ve been wrapping up so many projects that aren’t a part of our Gypsy Stars or T*zing businesses.

obviously not a New Moon, but very Libra-ish to be so pretty
This Saturday past, we celebrated a New Moon in Libra. Ruler of the 7th House of Partnerships (Relationships), Libra is nearly as contrary as the sign Gemini. Both are of the Air Element Triplicity, but where Libra is a member of the Cardinal Quadruplicity—Gemini is Mutable, rendering it more indecisive.

That’s why Geminis can often be of two faces. Mutable signs have a hard time committing.

But back to Libra. With Venus as its Ruling Planet, Libra knows about grace and good manners. However, their polite charm can often be superficial as Libra has a need to be admired—much like Leo, but not as demanding or loud. Sorry about that, but you Lions know what I’m talking about. Instead, Libra’s vanities are far more vapid even though it’s an Air sign and tends towards intellectualism.

Libras are also often very proficient lovers because of their need to please. When you show satisfaction with their bedroom skills, it makes them feel especially important.

So what can the New Moon in Libra bring you in the coming cycle? Well, it’s always good for starting a new partnership whether with a lover or a business.

It’s also a good time for makeovers—for yourself, for your home, for your life. Go ahead and redesign yourself. Want a new body? Start with a daily brisk walk or a gym membership. New hairstyle? Chop it off or grow it long. It’s a good time to beautify yourself. And, if you can find a partner to do it with together, that’s even better.

re-design your bedroom
re-design your body, this one really needs it
Meanwhile, Gypsy Stars keeps threatening to stop blogging, but will post this last one—at least, last for now. Ever since Facebook destroyed our business profile, we’ve been winding down.

So, no more website, but you can find us at The Urban Goddess page on Facebook and, for now, on Cafe Press with our T_zing t-shirts

Let’s see what next year brings. Happy fall!

Good luck, light and love.

Neptune Retrograde: Revealing The Illusion

Greetings, Gifted Reader.
what does all that mean?

Holy Retrograde!

In July, Mercury will join Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and Pluto in a parade of retrograde planets.

Meanwhile, in August, as Jupiter goes direct—Uranus will turn retrograde.

My stars! What does all that mean?

Some Astrologers see retrogrades as disasters. Since the orb of the planet slows down, it appears to be spinning backwards. Therefore, goes the thought, whatever that planet represents will also spin out of control.

But planets appearing to be spinning backwards are not out of control. They are deliberate in their shifting of gears. Therefore, there are many ways in which retrogrades can be of value.

For instance, Neptune is a planet that naturally obscures and veils. It’s associated with mystery, magic and illusion. But when Neptune is retrograde, moving in backward motion, the curtains fall and what was hidden becomes fully exposed. Remember the Wizard of Oz?

Neptune rules Pisces...
Neptune rules alcohol and drug addiction, self-imprisonment, hospitals and mental institutions; and, it’s currently in its own sign of Pisces.

...and the seas
Additionally, Neptune rules dreams and glamour. With Hollywood being so magnetic and bewitching, it probably has a prominent Neptune in its chart. But watch out when Neptune is retrograde because it will open the windows wide and allow you to see the dirty truth inside.

Santa Monica beach (almost Hollywood)
Where is retrograde Neptune in Pisces transiting in your chart? Its House position and any aspecting planets will indicate what it is being revealed.

Although we no longer maintain a website, you can always check out our Urban Goddess page on Facebook and our T_zing t-shirts on Cafe Press.

until we meet again on September 30…

Good luck, light and love.

Swimming With The Fish

Greetings, Gifted Reader.

We’re baaaack!

But only for a short while. Let’s see how much longer we can keep this blog going amidst this already bustling 2019. Why is there so much to do all the time?

contrary to Astro-facts, these Pisceans are not swimming in circles
Speaking of “why”, we’ve just emerged from Mercury Retrograde in Pisces. Do you feel as if the fog has cleared, or are things even more confusing for you now?

What House does Pisces rule in your natal chart? Depending on the degree and aspects to other transiting and natal planets, that House should show the life area that was triggered during the recent Retrograde period.

And, a few days before Mercury Stationed Direct, Venus entered Pisces.

For those who don’t know, Pisces is ruled by king of the seas, Neptune. Symbolized by two fish swimming in opposite directions in a circle, Pisces can be as murky as the waters it inhabits. Of course, it is of the water element and mutable, to boot.

Others often feel that Pisceans are hard to read, indecisive and unreliable. On the other hand, they can be very kind, empathetic and charitable. It all depends on which of the two fish you catch!

Please ‘like’ our Urban Goddess page on Facebook, and check out our T_zing t-shirts on Cafe Press.

Until June 30, we bid you months of peaceful planets.

Good luck, light and love.
