A New Moon And A New You, In Libra

Greetings, Gifted Reader.

This will be short and sweet. Since it’s nearly the end of the year, we’ve been wrapping up so many projects that aren’t a part of our Gypsy Stars or T*zing businesses.

obviously not a New Moon, but very Libra-ish to be so pretty
This Saturday past, we celebrated a New Moon in Libra. Ruler of the 7th House of Partnerships (Relationships), Libra is nearly as contrary as the sign Gemini. Both are of the Air Element Triplicity, but where Libra is a member of the Cardinal Quadruplicity—Gemini is Mutable, rendering it more indecisive.

That’s why Geminis can often be of two faces. Mutable signs have a hard time committing.

But back to Libra. With Venus as its Ruling Planet, Libra knows about grace and good manners. However, their polite charm can often be superficial as Libra has a need to be admired—much like Leo, but not as demanding or loud. Sorry about that, but you Lions know what I’m talking about. Instead, Libra’s vanities are far more vapid even though it’s an Air sign and tends towards intellectualism.

Libras are also often very proficient lovers because of their need to please. When you show satisfaction with their bedroom skills, it makes them feel especially important.

So what can the New Moon in Libra bring you in the coming cycle? Well, it’s always good for starting a new partnership whether with a lover or a business.

It’s also a good time for makeovers—for yourself, for your home, for your life. Go ahead and redesign yourself. Want a new body? Start with a daily brisk walk or a gym membership. New hairstyle? Chop it off or grow it long. It’s a good time to beautify yourself. And, if you can find a partner to do it with together, that’s even better.

Meanwhile, Gypsy Stars keeps threatening to stop blogging, but will post this last one—at least, last for now. Ever since Facebook destroyed our business profile, we’ve been winding down.

So, no more website, but you can find us at The Urban Goddess page on Facebook and, for now, on Cafe Press with our T_zing t-shirts

Let’s see what next year brings. Happy fall!

Good luck, light and love.

A Summer Solstice, A Solar Eclipse, And A Grand Trine, Oh My

Greetings, Gifted Reader.

Hopefully, you enjoyed a happy Summer Solstice—an that event occurred on June 21. How do you feel so far? Are you shining sunnier during these carefree summer days? Or has the higher heat been just too inflammatory, triggering eruptions in your life like Madame Pele on Kilauea in Hawai’i Island?

moon rising over the Pacific

You may already be aware, but a very important Astrological happening occurs on July 12 and 13—a partial Solar Eclipse with the New Moon in Cancer shadowing the Sun in Cancer. There’s also a Grand Trine forming among the planets Venus (in Virgo), Uranus (in Taurus), and Pluto (retrograde in Capricorn); along with Sun (in Cancer), Jupiter (retrograde in Scorpio) and Neptune (retrograde in Pisces). Altogether, they will form a six-pointed star.

The New Moon will also conjunct the U.S.’ Sun in Cancer.

Stormie Grace explains it all in her Youtube video:

So, what are your plans? Retrogrades are great for do-overs, btw. Think about what needs starting all over in your own life and apply the Eclipse-Grand Trine towards fixing those things. And, should you begin something new during that period, with all that Cancer energy flowing around, it would be wise to focus on honoring mothers, older females and those that nurture and ensure your safety and security.

Cancer is also about the home and family; thus, they tends towards introverted behavior. A highly emotional sign, Cancer can have a heard time explaining their feelings and resort to showing the world a grouchy, pouty face—for years! Just kidding, but you Moon children can fall into some deep, dark depressing holes so try to stay light and lively. We need you!

Both Robin Williams (July 21) and Anthony Bourdain (June 25) had their Suns in Cancer.

While you’re here, please check out T_zing t-shirts on Cafe Press and like our Urban Goddess page on Facebook.

Until September 30, we wish you an amazing summer of achievement.

Good luck, light and love.

It's A Mad, Mad, Mad March!

Greetings Gifted Reader,

celestial event...
Yesterday, March 20, ushered in several celestial events. Whether they will be for the good or bad remains to be seen.

For starters, we experienced the Vernal Equinox. That’s the official first day of spring when daylight hours and nighttime hours are equal, exactly 12 hours each.

There was also a total Solar Eclipse as the Moon blocked the Sun.

Additionally, a Super Moon occurred when the Moon orbited at its closest to Earth.

According to this article, link below, yesterday was “Freaky Friday”:

spring has sprung!
Astrologically, there was a New Moon in Aries even as the Sun entered Aries--the Sun at 3:45 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time, and the Moon earlier at 3:28 a.m. Aries marks the beginning of any Astrological new year, and is an ideal time to start something new. If you want to begin a relationship or a business for maximum success, this is your best date to do so.

This is also a time of rebirth. If you consider the Gregorian calendar and its new year beginning on January 1, you can see that this period is near the end of the first quarter of 2015. It’s a good time to assess where you are so far, and make those changes you think need to be made. Aries is always about bringing in new ideas and refreshing old ones.

In Chinese Animal Astrology, the sign Aries has “The Moon of the Dragon”. There are many similarities between the risk-taking Ram and the courageous Dragon.

Dear Gifted Reader, what do you hope to achieve in this Astrological new year?

Good news for those of you living on O’ahu. Gypsy Stars will be teaching basic Astrology classes in Honolulu. This will be a beginner’s class that covers all the basics so you will be prepared to continue studying on your own once you complete the course. Stay tuned for more details.

Meanwhile, check out The Urban Goddess on Facebook, and our line of T_zing t-shirts at CaféPress.

Good luck, light and love,
